스케이프 앤드 스코프는

'코카콜라는 왜 북극곰에게 모델료를 주지 않는 걸까'라는 질문 아래,

2008년 서울에서 시작했습니다.

느리지만 꾸준하고, 부족하지만 나아지는 걸음을 이어오고 있습니다.

우리가 만드는 것들과 쌓아가는 하루 하루가

세상을 더 나은 곳으로 이끌기를 바랍니다.

그 곁에서 함께 하는 모두에게 고맙습니다.

'scape and scope' is a shortened form of 'landscape' and 'telescope (microscope).'

We gaze at landscapes, observe nature, and bring its stories to life.

Inspired by nature, we craft products that tell its stories in our own language.

It all began in Seoul in 2008 with a simple, curious question

: "Why doesn’t Coca-Cola pay model fees to polar bears?"

Since then, we have been moving forward—steadily, creatively, and always evolving.

We embrace imperfection, knowing that each step brings us closer to something greater.

What we build today, we hope, will shape a better tomorrow.

별과 동그라미로 이루어진 우리의 심볼은 '갈릴레오의 관찰일지'에 나옵니다.

성능 좋은 망원경을 앞에 두고 모두가 적을 감시하는 도구로 생각할 때, 갈릴레오는 하늘을 봤습니다.

처음으로 달을 관찰했고, 목성도 봤습니다. 목성과 목성 주위의 반짝이는 위성들이 움직이는 것을 관찰하고 기록했습니다.

(심볼의 동그라미는 목성, 별들은 목성의 달입니다.)

그 순수한 호기심이 태양을 중심으로 지구가 돌고 있다는 것을 발견한 것이죠.

같은 물건으로 누군가는 전쟁을 하지만, 누군가는 별을 관찰합니다.

이 일을 이어가는 동안 우리가 항상 떠올려야 할 것은,

순수한 호기심과 아름다움으로 자연을 마주하는 태도여야 한다는 약속이 심볼에 담겨있습니다.

Our symbol, composed of stars and a circle, appears in Galileo's observation journal.

While everyone viewed a high-performance telescope as a tool for surveillance, Galileo turned his gaze to the sky.

He was the first to observe the moon, and he saw Jupiter as well.

He recorded the movement of Jupiter and its glittering moons orbiting around it.

(In our symbol, the circle represents Jupiter, and the stars represent its moons.)

That pure curiosity led to the discovery that the Earth revolves around the sun.

The same object can be used for war by some, and for star-gazing by others.

As we carry on this work, the symbol serves as a promise

—a reminder that we must always approach nature with pure curiosity and a sense of wonder.
